WE ARE THE CHANGE WE WANT TO SEE
The Community Food Co-Op (CFCO) is the first of it's kind in Long County, Georgia. As a Teen Sircles program, the CFCO consists of partnerships with local health care facilities, wellness practitioners, farms, agriculturists, health care providers, community partners, local governments, and residents of Long County and surrounding areas. The kick-off event is a new concept for the county as it targets whole health: mental, physical, emotional and spiritual.
Presenters
All hands on deck! Do you have dynamic insight into building healthy lifestyles? Health is a choice and you can show people options. We are looking for people with expertise in:
- Food Preservation: Canning, Drying, and Storage
- Benefits of Herbs and Fresh Produce
- Eating for Chronic Illnesses Support
- Chair Yoga
- Exercising with Health Challenges
- Busy Little Bodies: Exercising with Youth
- Line Dancing ( Variety)
- Healthy Recipes

Vendors
If you have a product or service that promotes a segment of the whole health concept, it's time to connect! Whether you offer massage therapy, yoga, personal chef services, or give a good sermon on Sunday you are welcome to set up and connect while creating a resource. Local non-profits and government resources set up for free with a non-perishable food item or toy for the 2025 Teen Sircles Christmas Giveaway. Download the Vendor Packet below.
Partners
Community Day 2025 is the kick-off for a year round program. As a CFCO parter, your support will help us to ensure that we are reaching every area of Long County. From the traffic light to the dirt roads, we are one big community. Partners help implement initiatives including mobile food distribution in more rural parts of the county, non-school hour meals, affordable fresh produce and meat sponsorships, scholarships for youth sports, health awareness classes and more.
